Adrienne Gaither

Adrienne Gaither is a Washington, D.C. based visual artist whose work focuses on identity and black imagination—utilizing geometric abstraction, color theory, archival photos and collected objects. She attempts to highlight the struggle between what we believe we see, what we want to see, and what is actually there to be seen. Gaither has exhibited at Strathmore in Bethesda, MD, The National African American Museum and Cultural Museum in Wilberforce, OH, PRIZM Art Fair at Miami Art Basel, and MoCADA in Brooklyn, NY. Her works are published in D’ailleurs et d’ici and showcased in both public and private collections.
