Trudy Benson
Trudy Benson is an abstract artist currently living in Brooklyn, NY. Her signature work incorporates the appearance of digital graphics “inspired by old imaging software.” She considers accidents an important part of her process, and, by extension, the finished piece. Born in Richmond, Virginia, Benson earned a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MFA from the Pratt Institute. Her work has been reviewed in the New York Times, Artforum, ARTnews, and Modern Painters, among others. She is represented by Galerie Bernard Ceysson.
